Meet Audrey Cohn
Pickleball mental coach, Nordic artist,
and a woman who once called Norway home.
The Beginning
I grew up with a racket in my hand. Tennis was my first language — the rhythm of a rally, the weight of a match point, the quiet war happening entirely inside your own head. I understood early that the game is never just about the ball.
When pickleball found me, something clicked into place. The community, the pace, the infectious joy of it — but underneath it all, the same mental battlefield I had always known. Except now I had years of experience to offer someone else.
"You can't always control the game. But you can always control your mind."
I became not just a coach, but a mental game coach — helping players stop playing against themselves and start playing free. Today I coach players across New York, Florida, and Scandinavia. Because the mental game travels everywhere.
The Norway Years
Four years. I spent four years living in Norway — studying at university, building a life among the fjords and the forests, the long winters and the luminous, endless summers. I didn't arrive as a tourist. I arrived as a student, and I stayed as someone who fell completely, irrevocably in love with a place.
I learned Norwegian. Not phrasebook Norwegian — fluent Norwegian. The kind where you dream in another language, where you laugh at a joke before you've even translated it, where a country stops feeling foreign and starts feeling like a second self. Those words never really left me. I'm relearning them now — dusting them off, welcoming them home.
"Friluftsliv — the Norwegian philosophy of open-air life. It's not a hobby. It's a way of being. And it changed how I see everything."
Norway lives in my art. The long twilights, the ancient trees, the Norse mythology woven into every landscape — they breathe inside every piece I create in my Etsy shop, Wildflower Art Norway. The aurora borealis isn't just a subject I paint. It's a memory I carry.
Now I'm going back. And I'm bringing you with me — through travel videos, through art, through the stories that only make sense once you've stood at the edge of a fjord in the midnight sun.
What I Do
People sometimes ask how it all connects — the coaching, the art, the travel. The answer is simple: it's all the same journey inward. Presence. Flow. Showing up fully, whether you're on a court, at a canvas, or standing at the edge of a fjord.
Coach
Mental game coaching for pickleball players ready to stop getting in their own way and start playing free.
Create
Nordic digital art — Yggdrasil, Norse goddesses, aurora skies — rooted in four real years inside that mythology.
Wander
Returning to Scandinavia — camera rolling, Norwegian on my lips — to share the places that shaped who I am.
You're probably in the right place. Whether you found me through pickleball, a piece of Nordic art, or a fjord video at midnight — welcome. I'm glad you're here.
